Please note: We want to make sure that everyone gets to see the films they want to see. However buying a Festival Pass does not guarantee entry into a screening. If there is a film you particularly want to see, you must book a seat to guarantee entry. Details on how to do this can be found below.

Booking

Seating is unallocated for Keswick Film Festival films, and entry is on a first-come first-serve basis.

Secure your free pass reservations or make individual ticket purchases for Film Festival films via the Keswick Alhambra website.

Direct links to book individual films can be found below.

Make sure to check carefully where the film is screening, as some films screen at Rheged or Theatre by the Lake, not the Keswick Alhambra, and you need to take into account travel times! Once again there will be a shuttle bus between Keswick and Penrith for Rheged screenings on Sunday, places are limited and more details will be available on our travel page nearer the time.

If you decide not to see a film that you have booked, please let us know at the box office, so that the place can be freed up.

Any remaining tickets will be available on the door before the screening but we recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

We can only accept card payments at the Theatre by the Lake and Rheged, on the day of screening.

Reserving Seats For Passholders

Passholders can guarantee themselves a reservation for a particular screening through booking a free ticket for that screening once they have purchased their pass: a guaranteed place will then be held for you and your lanyard marked up with your film choices. (Each passholder can reserve a place for a maximum of 10 screenings, and you must enter the screening 10 minutes before the advertised start time, after which we will allow passholders without reservations into the auditorium).
