At a sports boarding school, talented young boxer Camille and his friend Matteo sneak out to feed raw meat to the wild foxes that live in the woods around the school. Camille narrowly survives a fatal accident and is saved by Matteo. After a swift recovery, an inexplicable pain gradually takes hold of him, threatening his dreams of greatness and his relationship with the team. In the ring and in a man's world, there's no room for weakness.
Screen Rant called Wild Foxes:
A brutal coming-of-age boxing movie with a searing performance from its young star (Samuel Kircher), saying:
Wild Foxes can be deeply uncomfortable, and it will most certainly make you question why boxing is even a sport in the first place, but its story, in going deep into the psyche of one boy experiencing a coming-of-age in such an aggressive environment, resonates far beyond just the sporting world.
